Course Description

An introductory and exploratory training course in semiconductor processing in a cleanroom.


Trainees will explore career pathways, semiconductor manufacturing career skills, and academic pathways in semiconductor processing.
Topics covered include why gown up for a cleanroom and an overview of semiconductor manufacturing.


No prior technology or manufacturing experience is required.


This course is intended to be exploratory and introductory for anyone interested in learning what it's like to work in a cleanroom and how a semiconductor is manufactured into an integrated circuit (IC).

 

Refund Policy: Workforce Training students who wish to  withdraw from classes must notify us at 330-494-6170 x 4887 two or more business days before the start of both online and/or face-to-face classes for a full refund. If course delivery has begun (online or face-to-face), a refund will not be issued. 

Cancellation Policy: The College reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
