Course Description

This continuing education course is designed for dental assistants who are interested in reviewing for the Dental Assisting National Board Examination (DANB), Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) exam, and/or the Ohio Dental Assisting Certification exam (CODA). This review course allows dental assistants, studying for either the national or state dental assisting certification exams, a Zoom interaction that includes review, discussion and question/answer session on each examination subject area. The 4.5-hour course will review dental anatomy, radiography and infection control subject areas necessary for preparation for the DANB exam. Other review topics will include office assisting skills, dental sciences, and clinical procedures applicable for the RDA/CODA exam. No textbook is required and supplemental review and reference textbooks for the dental assisting certification exams will be discussed.
