Course Description

This non-credit course is designed for current maintenance employees to update and refresh their skills. Previous knowledge of electrical motor control systems or Machine Controls I is required. The participant will learn how to troubleshoot complex electric motor controls including timers, reversing starters, PLC interfacing and reduced voltage starting.

NOTE: Fee includes required classroom materials.

 

Refund Policy: Workforce Training students who wish to withdraw from classes must notify us at 330-494-6170 x 4887 two or more business days before the start of both online and/or face-to-face classes for a full refund. If course delivery has begun (online or face-to-face), a refund will not be issued. 

Cancellation Policy: The College reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.

 

Prerequisites

Previous knowledge of electrical motor control systems or Machine Controls I is required.
