XINM-5003 - PLCs - The Basics

Course Description

This non-credit course is designed for employees to learn safety precautions and concerns for PLC-controlled processes and how to select, install, wire and troubleshoot a PLC. The student will be introduced to RSLogix500 software and will program Allen-Bradley Micrologix1000 and SLC500 series with 5/04 processor PLCs.

NOTE: Fee includes required classroom materials.

Refund Policy: Workforce Training students who wish to withdraw from classes must notify us at 330-494-6170 x 4887 two or more business days before the start of both online and/or face-to-face classes for a full refund. If course delivery has begun (online or face-to-face), a refund will not be issued. 

Cancellation Policy: The College reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
